Fire. Known as the worst enemy of the forests, the destruction seems total after its passage. But is it really? The trees of the boreal forest have adapted to this disturbance and some are even dependent on fire events to thrive. How does the boreal forest regenerate after fire? To find out, the “fire team” is sent to the great spaces of northern Quebec to measure several parameters of the forests that have suffered forest fires. This film is the synthesis of the 2019 field work, many adventures in remote areas, surrounded by spruce, pine and wildlife.
